AccorPlus China

yes, 847 per night
Thanks for checking that!
I saw that there was a fast track to platinum as well from loyalty lobby here, would consecutive nights booked separately qualify as separate stays?
I saw mentioned here that if you buy more than 1 package that only 30 nights would count towards your status, so would the easiest way to get Platinum be buying the Australian plus and then the Chinese one?

The fast track to platinum is a separate promo. I'm not needing to use it so haven't looked at it in detail, but I'm pretty sure it said 3 stays. So no, u cannot use consecutive nights as that would only be 1 stay.

Yes, it was mentioned multiple All China packages is capped at +30 per year.

So buy Accor Plus for +20, then the All China for +30 =50. You'll still need to get +10 to hit platinum (60). Personally, I don't think this way is worth it? If you are starting from scratch, the fast track promo is the way to go I think.

Ah I see, I couldn't see them define what a stay was in the T&Cs, I thought it could potentially work, just wishful thinking haha.

If I checked into a different hotel the next day, that should count as 2 stays right, but 2 rooms at different properties on the same night probably wouldn't qualify as 2 stays i'm guessing.

Accor doesn’t allow overlapping stays, not sure why.

I decided to bite the bullet and sign up for the platinum fast track. Upgraded to gold pretty quickly, surprisingly showing 35 nights as well, not sure if that will stick.

I've decided to use the two vouchers on a free night at the ibis and one at the mgallery for my 2 nights in HK. Then I'll try stay one night in Taiwan and hopefully that triggers the upgrade to platinum. Thanks for the advice all!

can use a free night at the Novotel? Seems a waste on the Ibis.

It does seem like a bit of a waste to use it at the Ibis, but the Novotel is a bit too far.
I realised that I'll be going to Shanghai in August, so maybe I'll save the free night for then and just use a 50% off at the Pullman or Mgallery. It's a shame there aren't more properties in Taiwain since I'll be there for 10 days.

Maybe someone can shed a light on this for me. I’m 5 nights short of Platinum. I understand that nights reset at the beginning of next year. My Accor Plus is due for renewal. So if I get Platinum how long will I be able to enjoy the benefit for?

This question comes up a lot, at the time of renewal they assess you level based on your highest attainment in the current membership year or the previous membership year.

Minimum 12 months
Could be longer depending on when your Accor Plus anniversary is and if you decide to renew it next year.
