@blackcat20 , @Hvr , @JessicaTam , @boomy plus other interstate visitors, I would really like to say your journey to the DPRSA has only just begun however our 'admit one' ticketing system seems to have come to an end and now all the rabble are now are allowed to enter with relative ease. I am looking forward to the dinner.
Received a reminder email from DPRSA this morning - it has the link "Click here upon your arrival in South Australia".

Sadly I had to choose the other one: "Click here if you no longer intend to travel to South Australia" ...
:(

Sometimes parents put away a good bottle of wine to be opened on their child’s 21st. I presume you and TV have put a bottle away for the achievement of Master’s Life Time Gold? 😊
Haha, he won't be earning SC for a while yet, even if his first flight is in J.

..... The corkage said wine only - you might need to ask the restaurant if port is included in the corkage or if the bottle looks like any wine bottle perhaps it’ll go unnoticed.
I adhere to rules "wine only" means wine only anything else is up for debate.
You're the only person I know that look forward to that silly raffle ticket and time wasting at the desk while straining to hear what the person was trying to ask you through the mask :p
Back in Feb, I had the trifecta, if the raffle ticket system was not humiliating enough, I got my nose prodded at the airport and twice more thereafter, just for an overnight trip!
Mr Joyce and his newly created team ensured I was first off the plane and as I had a printed copy of the DPRSA entry permit there was no requirement to talk to anyone.

As for the trifecta thank goodness your overnight trip was not to china. I would have thought that been prodded in the nose was a better outcome than the chinese option.

@serfty you have confirmed that the DPRSA has joined the computer age.

Fairly seamless arrival in ADL this morning. Confirmed I was here by clicking on the link in the email, and scanned the QR code on arrival - done. Much easier than last time!

The lady in front of me joked to the police officer that she had been hoping to win the lucky door raffle prize this time.

Not me. Scan QR code wouldn’t progress beyond ‘next’ and the link in this mornings email wouldn’t load. I just keep walking, and out of the terminal building. Still not able to progress. Said I didn’t have data on, but I did and was getting texts ( hi @TomVexille ) and emails. Got to Uber and it wouldn’t load either!

Then I finally twigged. I had my VPN on ! Not in Australia. Turned it off and everything happened. On way to HIX, legal.

Totally missed this until right now - and I'm in Adelaide, which seems to be getting rarer and rarer even though I live here! Enjoy your night everyone - and if there's a last minute cancellation I'm available to fill the seat :)

Almost a last minute cancellation - my flight was cancelled less than 80 minutes from departure but I managed to book myself via MEL even though check-in had already closed and made it in time for the last flight of the day to ADL...

I can SMS you a phone number if you like. I'm sure there is one spot available.

I’m showing up at 8ish ar Star of Siam (unless the Tas election result becomes obvious)

and as Buzz said, pretty sure there’s one spare seat
