ADL Dinner and Drinks - 19 September 2014

I made a quick trip to Adelaide last weekend where I finally met Buzzard and met for a 2nd time shintaro10x, Friday night events in the Eastern states from Perth don't really work for me. I seem to visit Adelaide about once a year so I will give this event a pass, Fremantle will be playing in final series again this year, so plan to watch a few of the finals matches.

I am not sure if I want a photo of me looking drunk, yes I drank too much but my hang over was mild so I think Munitalp had chosen the good stuff.
 
I just told someone else that September is way too far away for me to make commitments, but unless something major turns up (probably kid related!) I will be there (+1)

There seems to be a trend towards eastern dining options at the last few ADL get-togethers. As the ex-pat Adelaidian who tries to get to most of the dinners, is it possible to have a little more variety?

I'm happy to do a steak or other pub fare one day... or somwhere Italian maybe at some stage

I was actually going to choose an Indian place on Rundle (Taj Tandoor?) but thought although Asian, Korean is a bit different.

Hopefully somebody puts on something or two before my September night and gets away from the eastern option. Otherwise I am happy to change my evening to Indian if people prefer.

A lot can happen in 5 months and I am prepared to listen.

It is no big deal, more an observation.
 
ooh, BBQ. Keeping an eye on this thread anyway, been a few years since I've visited Adelaide.
