Admirals Club vs Priority Pass Lounges - which do you prefer?

I read a post on the thread (link below) regarding Priority Pass Lounges charging for USD27.00 for a guest & it got me thinking given a choice do you choose Admirals Club where you have to pay for any food and drinks or Priority Pass Lounges where there is no charge* for snacks & alcohol?

* Some PP lounges may charge guests US27.00 for entry.

Base Admirals Clubs now include shelf beers and spirits for free.
(Qf Club and OW elites get vouchers for the more expensive bevvies)

In my experience very few PP lounges have alcohol included

Only used PP once and that was one of my annual two "free" Amex Plat Credit card benefits - it was CO at LAS and the basic drinks (including some alcohol) were complimentary - like most A/C 's these days.

I'll take the cheapest to be honest.
