As a paid member, I dont usually see any ads when diving directly into the forums, but today about every 4th thread i open I see a pop-up vin mof_ ad, that I have to close before the thread opens. Did something change over night?

Today I just started seeing Google vignette style ads on page load while logged in. I don't see any other ads around the site.

Yep those are the Google vignette ads

Yep i just got this one which was strange as already have a paid membership and had just logged in after a browser crash:

Replied on the other thread, as this is first time I've seen an issue. The latest ad suggested i get a paid membership to stop seeing the adds, even though I already have a paid membership.

I haven't had any issues so far but today even just going to the next page I'm getting the pop up Vinomofo ad - has happened several times

Actually, the issues last week are separate I suspect. We had an issue with our ad provider this morning and I suspect @Admin is doing what he can to resolve it, this may be an unintended consequence of that. Please bear with us.

Yep. As support says we had an issue this morning, which I'm in the process of resolving. It does seem that from about midday today paid users were seeing occasional Vignette ads between pages. I think the issue has been resolved for now, but please bear with us until we can confirm this with our US-based (different time zone!) ad provider.

I'm aware there was a minor issue yesterday with a single Vignette Ad being displayed between pages. That should now have been corrected.

Yea, for some reason (I guess I must have inadvertently authorised it) Google started "experimenting" with automated ad placements last night. I disabled this feature about 10 minutes ago, so that vignette ad should no longer be displayed. Might take a few hours to be actioned. Apologies yet again!

now seeing Criteo ads at the top and bottom of pages, as well two on the side of forum pages or in the middle of threads i.e. breaking up threads in two places so that posts no longer appear continuous

We switched ad partners overnight, at probably one of the lowest traffic times, but you were online to see the results. All should be well again by now of course.
