I do love the "LCC" connotations when virgin do it, but Qantas has done it for many years. They seem to have stopped in the last year or two though.
What next, painting a plane in an Optus promotion to go with optus ads on the boarding passes
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
How is it a change when it has been happening in various forms for how long now? It's not as if you have to turn the BP over and read the advert...Personally I think there's too much advertising at airports and in general, and was disappointed to see this change to the boarding passes. But on the other hand, it's not intrusive and don't really see the pass after the flight.
To those who have said fair enough, making a bit extra money, or similar, where would you draw the line? Baggage tags? Napkins? Headrests?

It's a change because Virgin hasn't had it in recent history, that I can recall.
That's correct, I don't have to turn it over. I also don't have to be a fan of the fact there is advertising there, which obviously I am not, and I was simply expressing my opinion. Your opinion seems to be that it doesn't bother you, which is great. Diversity is what makes for the best discussions.

$75 one way on my preferred route. Bring on the advertising I say.
And Qantas has been doing it for years.I think the phrase is "it screams LCC"
It would be good if that is where the income from advertising went but I think it will be nice cream on top for their bonus schemes.$75 one way on my preferred route. Bring on the advertising I say.
