Advice on champagne

Yes can confirm it is the non-vintage krug (or multi vintage :) depending on how you see/taste it!)

Personally, I enjoy Krug by itself, then move to Dom with meals

*was in TPR recently and was told that they only had Veuve, sigh... ok, I'll have some of that thinking it was just Veuve. After a few sips, hmm, this is no ordinary Veuve... aaah La Grande Dame:oops:

I am so sorry to have you green with envy to do with Suites.
It is NV Krug on SQ and I am prepared to wait 2 weeks for my next lot.
Will I go the Dom Perignon as well.....so many decisions....and great news that the hire car is booked for one day later.

Do the suites serve the NV?
Yes they do - and it goes down a treat - would have posted sooner buy WiFi onboard as slow as cove is to reach into his pocket to pull out his wallet!

Edit: I am currently onboard SQ228 half way between MEL and SIN - had about 30 Krugs so far - unfortunately the WiFi is so slow onboard cannot upload pics at all - c'est la vie!

Haha, thirty glasses of Krug!
The best I could do was eight on a HKG-LAX CX F.. but that was about half of my beverage intake that day (including in The Wing F).

Back on topic, how does the Sir Winston Churchill compare to the VC LGD?

Krug's non-vintage is the same price bracket at Dom. I don't know of any airline serving something (so readily consumable) in the price range of Krug vintage?

Jacquesson Avize Grand Cru. Gorgeous.:)
Also the "Grand Vin Signature". Have a 1995 ready for this evening to mark a family birthday. Hopefully, it has lasted the distance. :)

The 1999 Salon served on JL F is pretty expensive price wise ($500 at DM's) and a truly delightful drop. Managed to have a few glasses NRT-LAX last year :)

It's now 2 years since I moved back to the UK. How time has flown! Anyway, to celebrate I found a bottle of Bollinger (oh how British!) and polished it off.

What amazes me is how much champagne prices in Australia have dropped over the last couple of years. Even on special, I paid 35 quid for the bottle, which is actually pretty close to the Dan Murphy's price.

Mal it is good news that champagne in Australia is now more fairly priced. Some down under were wondering if their credit cards would get declined just buying a single pallet of the bubbly.

Today's good news is that SH has increased it's Dan Murphy's cashback to 6.15%

One of your favourite stores, Dan Murphys, has increased their cashback rate.
For a limited time you can now get 6.15% cashback when you StartHere & shop online at Dan Murphys.

Dans have Bolly for $54-57 per bottle, depending on your store.

As an aside, picked up the 2004 Dom for $usd121.
