Advice on champagne

Same. I was at home and received the text it had arrived. Sure enough, checked out the front to see this:

I hope you get some good news to enjoy yours Blackcat. :(

For those who bought during the DM 8% cashback from starthere (pricepal now), is it showing up as 8% under "recorded"?
I have one and it is only the normal 4.15% - this was made on 18/11/14.

Btw I went to buy some of the secret selection - still showing as available at $35/bottle in any six, but when I go to checkout it still shows as $338.34 when I select 6 ($56.39 each) :(

Make sure you select delivery, not click and collect?

All fixed, I only got 12 bottles though. $420.
I initially had another wine item which when removed, brought the secret selection back down to $35 per bottle.
My guess is that the other item was available for both delivery and c&c and the secret selection was only available for delivery - so the system didn't know what I was selecting. However I did go up to the end of checkout (put in delivery options and whatnot) and it didn't change.
Spoke to the call centre and the guy did a similar thing but it did bring the ss down to $35 when delivery was selected, even with the other item.
FWIW I didn't log in with an account and just bought the Tait (tay, hehe).

OT - I always refer to it by the proper pronunciation (Tay-tarhn-zhay) and get weird looks :(
Even the FAs in F weren't calling it properly :o

Same here bismarck...

And just spent a few hundred on VinoMofo... Maybe I should sit this one out

Yes, I think I am tapped out for the year.

Just got an email from VM that my "order has been dispatched' (I'd actually forgotten about that order....will need to get home quick today to hide from SWMBO  )

I have a similar problem, although I am currently in the process of reviewing my cellar.

There seems to be three buckets:
1) Plonk - Drink now or give away
2) Aged - Ready for enjoyment now
3) Needs Age - put away for 5-20 years

I am thinking I will give a lot of the plonk away, as bucket 2 is larger than I expected... apparently I made some good decisions between 2002 and 2010, which are now paying off.

vimsickness…..

It's a new disease with no cure that I can find.

It keeps coming .
I can't even begin to drink it fast enough..
I have nowhere to put it all...

did anyone else pick up a vintec fridge through the penfolds deal? tried to put my $35 champagne in the other day, and walked back into the pantry a couple of hours later to see the door had opened. not the first time either. not exactly a wine guru so there's nothing too expensive in there, but was a bit miffed.

anyone else with a dodgy door seal?

You're welcome to send some my way

I'll make sure it's taken care of properly ;)

I picked up one of the Vintec wine fridges - I have had no issue with the door self opening.

My problem is that I only bought 1 of them

Just a heads up to check your DM online order. I just placed an order and when the DM site got to the last page it changed the price on one item by around $24...more! I deleted it and then reconfirmed the displayed price as being lower than checkout, re-entered it and then when it got to the final checkout page the price changed again. I chose to go through with the sale anyway...hey, that's another $1.90 at 8% ;) and phoned to get DM to adjust the price manually. This will be reimbursed in coming days.
DM's explanation is that my local store is price matching with a competitor within a 10km radius. Other DM stores have this wine at the higher price. Not sure why it would not hold it at checkout. Anyway, thought others may like to know to keep an eye on their invoices for these mistakes.

i tried to double dip with the edrbonus1 and/or edrbonus2 today on another 6 of the tait, but it repriced the secret champers to the original price so i just binned the promo code. bit of persistence might've paid off.

don't know why i didn't notice the first time, but i paid the extra $3 for next day delivery instead of having to wait a week like the previous order.
