Advice on champagne

did anyone else pick up a vintec fridge through the penfolds deal? tried to put my $35 champagne in the other day, and walked back into the pantry a couple of hours later to see the door had opened. not the first time either. not exactly a wine guru so there's nothing too expensive in there, but was a bit miffed.

anyone else with a dodgy door seal?

Yes I have issues with mine. It's not so much the door opening itself but more it not "grabbing" when you swing it closed and sitting an inch or so open. I now go to a bit of effort to ensure its fully closed before walking away. Could be a ground level issue I guess.

My Dan Murphy's special arrived today. It had the strangest Christmas Card in the box ...ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1418294757.723136.jpg

I picked up one of the Vintec wine fridges - I have had no issue with the door self opening.

My problem is that I only bought 1 of them

I have two of them. One from the Penfolds deal and one from someone else's Penfolds deal that sold it on eBay brand new still in box. Neither has issue with door seal including one that I flipped the door on to make them a pair

It shows as sold out for me - not that I'm going to get any more.

I put in my order for the secret selection on the 9th and it still hasn't arrived
It should have taken 2-4 business days but I've received nothing. Still says "shipped" when I track it online :(

I'd suggest giving them a call...

Best of luck. Not related to this promotion, but I've had a disastrous experience with DM orders taking for ever and multiple stuff ups

My DM's deliveries have always been 2-4 days other than this last one for the 8% deal. Ordered last Thursday, must be from interstate.

I rang last night but after being on hold for 20 mins, I had to go and it was almost closing time for their call centre.
Called just then, they told me it is with Australia Post - processed somewhere in Qld on Friday and that is the last they can track.
Given that Thursday is the last day for me to receive it (last day at work for a few weeks), they mentioned that we can come to some other arrangement if it can't be delivered but I guess I'll have to deal with it when I'm back in Jan. Such is life.

My last and only delivery with DMs thus far has been without a hitch - delivered in 3-4 days with no problem.

3 cases just arrived this morning. Very happy so decided to give the secret selection Pinot Noir a try for $165 for 6. A Central Otago drop with a rating of 95 so cant be too bad. Will let you know what it turns out to be when it arrives as I haven't been able to hunt that information down yet.

If you order through Pricepal (was StartHere) you will get 10% off via a WW ecard. If someone refers you you also get a $20 bonus. I was a mug a didn;t know when I signed up.

You can do better than this! A bigW ecard acts as a WW card so you can get 7.5% off, and cashrewards have been known to offer 8% for DM's.

I saw that BigW card promo but I thought it said it was only valid at BigW, not the others. That's great!

I'm in a similar situation - I ordered on the 3rd December and was quoted 3-7 business days for delivery.

There are some issues with the website at the moment so I can't log in to my account or reset my password (nor can the call centre). So the only way I can track my order is to phone the call centre. I did this on Friday and spoke with the most unprofessional call centre operator I've ever come across (he sounded like a backpacker). He told me my order was with the driver in Chullora and that I should receive it on Monday - given that is 900km or so from my house I very much doubted it was with the driver.

I was going to be drinking it at some pre-Christmas gatherings so I'm not very happy.
