Thanks for flagging this - I’ve been wanting to try the Andre Clouet Grand Reserve NV for a while, after seeing a detailed comparison and review of NVs, in which it came out best. $62 is a rather pain free way to do so!

Thank you, although we ended up buying 2 bottles in the earlier Vintage Cellars deal, and didn’t like it. Seemed too carbonated, and impacted on enjoyment quite negatively.

Cheers,
Matt.

Vintage Cellars is run a good Black Friday special atm till Tuesday.. $50 off when you spend $200. Code TAKE50. That's 25% off! They currently have Bollinger and Pierre Jouet on special at $90, so a real bargain once you use thecode.

For those with access to Henry and Paul.

Today's spend $75, save $25 offer, combined with this week's free shipping with no minimum spend brings Mumm RSRV 4.5 down to $82.99 delivered.

Seems to be going for ~$120-$150 elsewhere.

I've grabbed a bottle to give it a go.

I loaded up on Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé a few weeks ago, but if I hadn't a bottle of that for $64.99 is also great value.

Aberlour 12 for $59.99 delivered not too shabby either!

Champagne prices this year is definitely cheaper than last 2 years. I'm liking it.
Depends on what, DM's used to have a really good cheap bottle about 5 years ago called Aubert et Fils that was between $19-$25 and now they moved to the horrible Veuve Rozier.

I think across the board BWS and LL have more expensive champagne then previous years but also depends on what you are after.

Dom Perignon and like champagnes have gone up by 30% compared to 2 years ago

I don’t think you are comparing apples with apples, my reading of the comment was that around 2 years ago (definitely 2 years plus in my view) prices shot up a lot but have now come back a bit. My memory is that it’s closer to 3 years ago that we go cheap champagne, eg the big Covid years.

Yeah possibly, I am happy with the cheaper prices overall
