Advice on whisky

I may be mistakenly coming into possession of 6 bottles of Macallan Classic Cut 2021 after a minor mistake at an auction. Would anyone be interested in buying a bottle at my cost of ~$125 per bottle. Retail price is ~$300+ at the moment.

Sure thing, will keep one aside for you. Auction ends in a week and a half, assuming I'm successful I'll be in touch. Crisis averted - accidentally bid on a lot with 6 bottles instead of 1, but glad that there is some interest here to take a few off my hands.

Worst case could always put them up on Australian Whisky Auctions and make a couple of shekels

I've been outbid so going to call it a day, but the price is still incredibly reasonable for anyone that's interested. Link here - ends later tonight.
 
Just noticed that Liquorland (NSW) has Dalwhinnie 15YO Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL on special, whereas they are usually $146 a bottle.

I want to post some local Whiskey to family in the UK and Australia Post says I am not allowed to, only alcoholic beverages under 25% for the UK - does that sound correct> does anyone know a work around ?
