Advice on whisky

Yeah, at least you got a single malt though, some people on the FB page were not happy as they received the blended one. I'd be peeved if that was me too.
What samples did you receive? Even though I'm happy enough I don't think I'd do it again, for $190 I'd rather buy what we like or an add on through the Whiskey Club. I was worried I'd get a t-shirt and some mince pies, so thank goodness they weren't in the box.
I did read about some getting the Symphony, and I'm glad I did a bit better than that. I probably won't buy again next year - it was an impulse buy this year. Whilst I probably came out even, in future I will just buy what I want when I want it.
Samples were Forty Spotted Gin and Nant Port Cask Single Malt.

Corny name, but Glenlivet Illicit Still @ 48% & non-chill filtered is a decent drop and a far cry from their standard 12yo. $80 at BWS minus 20% cashback at Cashrewards today brings it down to $64. Have picked up a few of these recently.

I had a look, but it isn't available at any BWS stores in my area. Maybe try it at another time :)

And it is on sale if this tickles your fancy!

It is under their Projects Label - I picked up an amazing Blood Orange Amaro under their projects label for Xmas last year.

EDIT: It's sold out already, sorry!

Talking of Rye, anyone lucky enough to snarl Arrrrrrrdbeg special release. This is Ardbeg fully matured in rye cask.

It can also be stacked with the 15% amex offer. No idea why they heavily discount this, based on information from Facebook groups, it appears Boozebud is selling them below wholesale price.

Can't really comment on the whisky as I never had Lark before, but good value if you were looking to try a Lark whisky as their classic range isn't that much cheaper.

Bought this through BB and it's a nice drop.

Nice fragrance but palate is diluted and finish is short even though abv is 47%
Would I buy again, No even with the discounted price.
Here's some interesting news on Lark April 9, 2021
