They do have boats with satellite wifi you know .

And for what it is worth, I had internet with Telstra almost the entire way between Fremantle and Rottnest on the fast boat.

It would likely be 2 years out instead of the usual 1, so I hear, as the schedule for announcing cruises is well in advance. So not AFF#11, but perhaps AFF#12.

Regardless, we usually go to a poll, so if you have suggestions, it's probably the time to air them!

Looking at towards the end of the year, there's a SYD departure on 22 Sep 2017 on the Carnival Spirit. Official prices from the website has interior rooms starting at $649 per pax, quad share. Suites can cost upwards to $1249 per pax. There is also a departure for 3 Nov 2017 on the Legend. There are still availability on most category rooms for both dates, so if we move fast, we might be able to pull it off for AFF #11.

For 2018, they also have MEL departures. Only 1 towards the end of the year though, on 23 Nov 2018, on the Legend. SYD has 7 Sep 2018 and 7 Dec 2018, both on the Spirit.

I can vouch that the Doubletree Esplanade isn't totally awful . November might not be the best time to go though...(disclaimer: I went in November). Also, still not sure who thought putting two Doubletrees immediately adjacent to each other was a good idea...
