I would consider walking to the city over Uber, Taxi or any other such option. (After over 2k+ such trips through 25 years I am well over them.)

Uber is fine here. Walk across the large courtyard after the exit. Taxis will be halfway on your left. Keep walking, cross the road using the left pedestrian crossing and the Uber waiting area is on the left. Takes a couple of minutes for them to drive over from Ikea.

Yesterday started with rain and cold and by the afternoon it was suddenly warm and sunny. Now it’s warm and overcast and one of our dirty northerly winds will kick in briefly and then a cool change later today.

HBA 's already small and overcrowded departures area is being enhanced. Not expanded, mind you, just putting increased seating density in. God forbid they would spend capital to expand the footprint of the terminal!





And then, after they board 3 flights out of 2 gates, it's onto the HBA on-apron cattle run.

Fog in SYD this morning has already created considerable problems . Plenty of cancellations and delays happening with VA. Lets hope some reshuffling during the day puts everything back in place for this afternoon's flight

I find taxis in Adelaide far better than Melbourne

Yes, my 4:35pm MEL-ADL flight is already re-scheduled 30 minute late ...

(Flight aware indicates operating ...-SYD-MEL-NTL-MEL-ADL-...today - SYD-MEL was 10am and has not departed as yet .)

What time is the drinks at Lady Burra Brewhouse?

The registration still seems to say 'time to be confirmed' and I admit I haven't trawled through the entire 19 pages of thread looking

I could be there any time from 5pm onwards.

Going by this post, from 6:30pm.

By all means join us at Burra, but I doubt anyone will be there before 6.30.

At this stage I'm unlikely to arrive before 7:30pm ...

Board in SYD still showing flights from 9;45 yet to depart. Hoping the backlog will clear a bit for our 12;35 departure. Oh well.... another drink in the lounge...

Have started our journey.Booked the car in at BNE long term parking.Normally takes ~ 90 minutes from our place to BNE so we allowed 2 hours.So for the first time in over 10 years it took just shy of an hour.
On the bright side gives us 2 hours in the J lounge.

Flight from CBR chockers as I think some passengers were moved from the very delayed flight before ours, plane was stuck in SYD.

My a/c according to Flightaware was doing ADL-SYD-CNS-SYD-ADL . FR showing departed to CNS 2 hours late , so who knows what is happening ...hoping for a reshuffle of A/C
