I’ve just had a lovely (light) dinner here at the IC with mrs.dr.ron and dr.ron. Now ready for sleep! Thank you to all those who organised the weekend. I’ve had a great time and met lots of great people. It’s fabtast to be able to put faces to AFF names as well. Home tomorrow, then Antarctica in 10 days, :)

Made it home safely a little earlier than expected.

Mr 4E wasnt the best middle seat passenger; left his baggage in J, read the paper by encroaching on my space then barged past me as soon as the seat belt sign went off.

And left his wife several rows behind him

It is a work day for me in Adelaide and then home tonight. Quite glad I am in business care of some Virgin points that I ran up when Citi Prestige was a favourite.
The room at the IC was quite ok.
Getting faces to the handles worked ok....now I need to match real names to handles to faces.....
Have a manufacturing meeting today so that should be fun.

Now in the QP.A fantastic weekend. All the organisers and helpers did a great job.
A great way to finish last night with a very enjoyable dinner with L-T-L.
And Pushka I didn't let you down.Slept on the bus and remained so at the Lyndoch stop.

My flight’s a bit later than yours so I’m still lolling in bed with the iPad and a cuppa. :)

You will always be cove to me. MrP (what is his name cove?) asked me what Buzz's real name was at the dinner. I looked at him quizically and said Buzz!

I asked Buzz his name and he said he was always known as Buzz so I don’t feel so bad that I promptly forget people’s names. By the was I do remember his name as did tell me. :)
I don’t care if I forget it ‘cos I’ll always remember his great wine tour organisation. (Thanks Buzz and hope you enjoy your rail jaunt soon)

Any discussion about next year's location?

Buzz recommended a tradesman to me and when I rang him he asked who had recommended him and I said umm sorry I don't know his name I just know him as Buzz (it's OK he knew who I was talking about and he couldn't remember his name either)

I always go by handles, and most of the time I forget faces too! :p

Any discussion about next year's location?

Yes, and similar to this year it will be decided ultimately by the Moderators/Administrators. That said, you are welcome to post your suggestions to the thread with suggested activities etc...

Locations discussed could become AFF Gathering #13 or AFF Regional #2 (the first of which was Longreach in 2016).
