Hilton Residences are noticeably cheaper on Friday compared with Saturday.

Form filled in - thanks samh004 and penegal for the organisation.

Platinum for Saturday dinner and Sunday BBQ.

I'll be driving to and from BNE (hopefully can get a car from the folks), heading down on Saturday afternoon and back on Sunday evening after the BBQ. Happy to offer a hand in chauffeuring a few people around the place, including those arriving at OOL after QF's "inaugural" back-to-Gold-Coast flights, and those needing transport back to OOL at the end of the Gathering (will depend on timing etc.).

Form completed, I'll only be attending the BBQ on Sunday with a +1 , not sure what time I'll be there from. Might end up going and doing my own thing in the afternoon so I'll most likely rent a car.

Will confirm my transport options and if I can offer people a lift later on.

Trying to work out whether I/we (family) can come down for Sat night or if I just have to "do a JohnK" (golf and BBQ) on the Sunday. After 13 nights in mostly Hilton hotels in late Sept / early Oct, we might be over staying in a hotel room (and funds might be a little tighter). If I'm the latter, then I'll be "drive-in, drive-out" that day to/from BNE and could arrange (early) pick up or late afternoon return home (more likely).

Will complete form probably over the weekend after discussion with SWMBO.

Be warned: At the last AFF golf day I played some excellent shots right into the middle of the fairway (of the adjacent hole).
