Oops. It's on my to do list. I'll try and do it today or tomorrow. Thanks for all your hard work

Please put me as a yes for Sunday brunch. Dinner money will come your way on Wednesday next week.

Folks,

Unfortunately I may need to downgrade to Bronze.

They're starting the change hold at work early this year - it's starting on December 2nd. This means that the days leading up to it will be a frenzy with everyone trying to get their changes pushed in otherwise they'll have to wait until January (I work in the production platform engineering team where I am).

This also means that it is almost 100% likely that I'm going to have to be in Sydney that weekend.

I will know more over the coming days.

The agenda does however look amazing. I've always wanted to visit MONA and the Cascade Brewery sounds good too! :)

*Looks desperately for the 'dislike' button*

Sorry to miss you if you can't make it.

Okay, details as follows:

Friday Drinks: I suspect unlikely as not scheduled to land until 1935. But will turn up ASAP wherever people are at (drinks or dinner).
Saturday: Salamanca when I get there. MONA ferry booked (pleb section). MONA QFF entry 'twin' = blackcat20. Bus to Cascade. Cascade tour. Dinner.
Sunday: Brunch. Whatever else after that as I have a lateish departure from HBA.

MONA ferry booked online, $115 paid to nominated account for Sat Dinner, Cascade bus, and Cascade tour.

Sorry you probably can't make it Ewing. But at least I learned a new term - change 'hold'. I've heard 'freeze' and 'embargo' among others but never 'hold'. And yes, that is mighty early to go for an Xmas one.

Also dropping to bronze - I need to behave, having just booked some more flights for an event next month.

Must try to tie down our social calendar to be able to give clarification as to whether I can make it...

Monies received from Newk and tuapekastar.

The spreadsheet has been updated accordingly.

Edit: for completeness, I have also paid.

Looks like i'm in

Looks like my flights will be WLG-SYD-BKK-DEL-BKK-SYD-HBA-MEL-WLG (Been wanting to see the Taj Mahal for a while)

Arriving on the Friday. Still to book the SYD-HBA flight and all I see is horrible prices (might have to fly JQ). Flying out Sunday morning

Will start thinking about accomodation and work out who to pay

Jeff

Great stuff! Prices have been ordinary for quite a while (from MEL at least) and I am flying (non-earning!) JQ on a Tiger price match/beat.

jswong - VA flights SYD-HBA are ok priced at $115 ( or even better if you use the Promo Code DNW89 , which reduces it to $80.70 on a Saver Lite) for both the morning and afternoon flights . I think the promo code expires at the end of today 28th October.

Thanks although ended up just booking JQ

So flying in on Friday JQ273 from SYD 11:30-13:25. Flight out is on QF2148 on Sunday 06:30 to MEL. Booked via QF the Quest Savoy. Booked the MONA and ferry ($20) online

All thats left is to pay for the rest. Might not be so easy without an Australian account (Have PM'ed JessicaTam re this difficulty)

Jeff

Have just booked MONA ferry and paid $115 to the nominated account for Sat Dinner, Cascade bus and tour. Seeking a "Mona Pair". Looking forward to a great week-end!

After viewing the Social Calendar at home, found that there was a clash with my daughters Tap & Jazz end-of-year function on Saturday.

Needless to say, I thought better than asking Mrs QF WP whether I'd be able to come on AFF#7. Discretion is the better part of valour - to miss the look of distain and ascerbic tongue is highly appropriate.
