Looks like I have a few trips to cairns this year. one or two for planning purposes, my RAAF pilots course reunion and this get-together. I haven't been there since we sold our house there a couple of years ago.

Put myself and Sue Oz down as Platinum.

Plan is to arrive on Thursday and leave on Monday.

It would be good if the Hilton web site would come back up completely :!:

I have managed to juggle a few things around so am a starter with + 1. I have booked Fri, Sat and Sun nighrs at Hilton...flights to be decided but probably need to do a full day's work in Sydney on Friday so we will be arriving late Friday night. Irrespective of whether it is organised or not, we want to do a day trip to the GBR +/- Green Island on Sunday

Nothing locked in for me at this stage but will be looking at flight/hotel/date options in the next day or two and confirm.

I booked on VA so no competition from me - Used up all four of my Complimentary Velocity Platinum upgrades!

I've booked both Thursday and Friday night and used points to upgrade as I'm not sure what my work travel plans will be for that week yet, and I didn't want to miss out on an upgrade due to the busy-ness (business...?) of the weekend...

Of course, once I decide which night I am actually flying, and release the other seat, I'm sure I can let everyone know in case the reward seat gets returned to inventory.

Unfortunately, QF no longer have an evening-timed business-friendly flight from SYD-CNS, and I'm certainly not flying JQ.... so it's VA for my homeward leg each week lately.
