Re: Name Tags

As with previous years, there will be name tags at AFF 9. Whilst I agree that name tags can be a bit tacky, they do allow us to easily identify members of the group.

Can you please provide me your preferred name for the name tag (first name only). The name tag will also have your handle, and home airport. If you are bringing a +1, can you also include their name.

Mr No Avatar = CaviAck :D

Re: Name Tags

I have put transfer through this afternoon for payment of dinner.

Menu selections are: salmon, lamb, chocolate fudge cake.

Accommodation for all nights is local.

Re: Name Tags

I've been a bit quiet on AFF lately, but looking forward to catching up with everyone over the weekend - although I am working on the Saturday so missing Kuranda trip.

Re: Name Tags

A week out ....and its shaping up to be a cracking weekend weatherwise. Bring it on.

Have paid for Mrs SMJ and myself to attend Kuranda and dinner Saturday night.

We’re staying at the Pullman Cairns International, will be at the Hilton for collection for the Kuranda tour.

Meal choices for dinner are;
  • SMJ – Smoked salmon, prawns and chocolate fudge cake
  • Mrs SMJ – Soup, gnocchi and lemon meringue

Our flight details on the spreadsheet are correct.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you all there!!

I'll hopefully meet you and Mrs SMJ in the QF J Lounge before our flight, or if not, I'm sitting in 3C. We can probably share a taxi into CBD.

Reading post #4 again, I'm not sure if the guest column means the person is bringing guests, or if they can guest others into the lounge? Anyhow, I'm happy to do some guesting on both of my flights.

And how many people have bought tickets for GI so far? Looking at the spreadsheet, it doesn't seem like a popular option.

A bit late to the party, apologies.
$165 paid and my choices for dinner are: Kangaroo-Lamb-Lemon meringue

Just saw the attendance list, impressive!
Looking forward to next weekend :)

Wait... What... I had it down in my diary for this weekend... I'm a moron. I'll be there with bells on. Back to Cairns next week.

I will certainly be going to Green Island.

If my name slips your memory, I'm happy with 'Utter cough' on my tag. :p

I shall buy my ticket this weekend. Although the supplier's own online booking website suggests there are more than 10 tickets available for all departures. It would even allow me to make a booking for 10 families (or 2 adults/2 children).

Sounds good, will send a PM when we're in the lounge, we're currently in row 14, but, will look to move forward to row 4.

Sharing a cab sounds like a good idea!
