Wondering what your opinions are on Flight Centre FLT?

Comparing with CTD & WEB stonks… it’ll prob take another 3-4 years for travel to be at Pre-pandemic levels.

I’d personally wouldn’t touch it. But each one’s goals are different. Personally heavily invested in TSLA as believe by end of this decade or soon will overtake AAPL as the most valuable company in terms of market cap value. It will continue to innovate just as AAPL, AMZN, GOOG(L) for high growth.

Started my sell off for underperforming shares for the end of 2022 financial year.

I know selling duds to take the losses to offset against the gains for tax reasons makes perfect sense, but always difficult to accept that you’ve got some choices wrong.

Before the end of the month I’ll be selling:

AVH
OLL
MFG
ASIA

considering the same, in the process of making a list.

on a separate note, has anyone had recent experience with delisted.com.au?
Or can recommend any alternatives to declare a loss for a delisted but not wound up company?

Just because a company delists does not mean that you record a loss. The shares become issuer sponsored. Admittedly, trading them becomes very difficult.
Yes I am aware of the above. Hence consideration to use a separate service who execute a deed and become beneficial owner. Thus a loss is crystallised and may be claimed for tax purposes.

They're legit, and the best way to crystallise if you'd rather pay that fee than just hold on (indefinitely).

Bought Pilbara Minerals which is PLS today following the drop this week and sold some WAM.
Pilbara is producing so we are happy to be in a lithium shipper.
Parked some funds in Cromwell at 78.5 seeing they are 4 weeks off another quarterly distribution entitlement.
Very happy now that the ATO has given up on me after 6 and a half months. It was annoying seeing we pay a lot and pay it all on time.

Time to buy lithium was months n months ago. Most at highs atm.

Yes @MooTime we have done well in lithium over the past couple of years.
Had never held Pilbara Minerals so we bought when the price pulled back. Up quite a bit today from our purchase but have no wish to sell.

Have been reading the Macquarie Bank annual report….put it down once i had reached page144.
Ok dividend is 40% franked and Shemara is 60.
AGM is late July.
Most recent share issue is under water but they had a very good year.

I’d suggest more than just one good year!

Probably good that our markets are closed today as the US futures took a flogging overnight on Friday. Combined with whatever tonight's action brings, it could be a dreary day on the ASX tomorrow.

My suspicion is that its going to be a overall down month, people will take tax losses to offset gains so unlikely to see any serious upside before July. I'm personally not as down on the market as some but clearly once there is a bit of negative sentiment around it's somewhat contagious.
