AFF Status Runs Spreadsheet

Any spreadsheet is static. Availability of status runs is constantly changing. I do not think this is a useful exercise.
Hey Shane, I'm not sure if you've looked at Google docs. The spreadsheet is a living, breathing, shared document that anyone (with access) can update live. It sometimes gets dozens of updates a day. Give it a whirl you might be surprised :)

There's absolutely no obligation for you to even apply for access then. It's working extremely well for the 170 people who have access and are updating it on a daily basis.

WOW

This really is a great effort well done to all involved :D Now is there a version for QF as I mainly fly QF

Again wel done to all.

There are QF (and partner) tabs within the spreadsheet. They are just not as populated as the VA ones.

I reckon we need to start looking at nailing down eligibility requirements, to make things a bit easier for him...

Yea this'd be good. I've got a heap of pending applicants with single digit post counts but who have been members for months or even years...

It's your document so its completely up to you but the suggestions (incl mine) for criteria have been 100 posts + 100 days or even 180 + 180 (as I understand is the FT equivalent).

Im very much of the opinion that if people want it enough they will wait/contribute to the AFF more.

Cool, to be honest I'd see it readable by all if there wasn't a possibility of runs getting canned by airline staffers (which I'm told has happened historically here).
Beyond that I'm happy to implement whatever the community thinks is fair. I can certainly see merit in getting people to post and be involved rather than just lurk though... I guess I just hate to be the bad guy and refuse people access! :P

Gentlemen,

The spreadsheet is one of the greatest things this forum has ever contrived of. Supremely useful, dynamic, secret, excellent functionality (especially in being able to compare apples with apples with regard to Points vs $ vs SCs etc)., the superlatives go on.

Congratulations.

might have to consider joining up... I would hope I've been here long enough and have enough posts :p

Haven't seen you in a while! ;)

I have not seen nor apply for the spreadsheet yet but from threads that I have read, a great effort by AFF member lobo76!!

This is not a men only forum.

Nah. People just want without the obligation to contribute.

I try not to pipe up unless I've got something useful to say... which I didn't really in this case but had to say it anyway.

Only 207 more sleeps until Oktoberfest.

I'm locked in on that one.. BNE schoen arben fest again..:mrgreen:

Can I say kudos to lobo76 spearheading this idea, and everyone who has contributed.

When I'm in a position (financial, time) to try some of these runs, I'll be asking permission to be admitted. Until then, please consider me the guy who walks by regularly staring with big eyes through the gate! :p

I appreciate your kind words of endorsement JessicaTam, but I'd feel guilty if I'm granted access and then don't contribute to the sheet. And I'm not ready to do that yet (better when I start seeking them out).
