I could sacrifice a ‘12 BP, - RF, if you had a ’10 or ‘13 we would have a nice little vertical

I have booked Geronimo, 186 Charles St, Launceston# (opposite Prince's Square) for AFF lunch, 12:30 on Saturday 23 October, for 6, namely myself, @Steady @drron @lastrow @danintas @Buzzard. Have I missed anyone? Pls let me know ASAP. Everyone else very welcome, just let me know ASAP so I can increase the booking. Obviously if any of those cannot attend, also pls let me know. We appreciate Buzz coming and if he gets blocked at the airport at the last moment, we'll understand! (But if you do, Buzz, pls send on the BP anyway ;)

Its order-at-the-venue, pay your own. NOTE: They may not let us pay individually, so pls bring CASH as well to settle with me in case its only 1 card.

# Royal Oak Hotel doesn't do lunch, or wouldn't let me make a booking for lunch.

Hi RooFlyer, unfortunately I’m a no sorry, have a great lunch and arvo everybody as the menu does look good.

Any interest if I also brought along a VP?
6 would be a good number to share it with.
I just can't guarantee that it hasn't fallen of a cliff.

I just booked a Hotel room about 350m along Charles Street from Geronimo's, I plan on dropping my car off and walking.

Hi, I should be able to make it but cannot confirm until a few days before. Cheers.

I've updated the reservation - its now at 12:45 at Geronimo.

Any further additions may be subject to the restaurant being able to accommodate a larger party.

Back again, sorry, just found out I will not be able to make it, sorry to stuff you around, hopefully next time I will be able to get there.😞

I have an 11 BP that needs to be consumed.

I could sacrifice a ‘12 BP, - RF, if you had a ’10 or ‘13 we would have a nice little vertical

I can contribute a Tolpuddle Chardonnay

I'll supply a nice Tassie pinot noir.
With Geronimo no longer offering BYO and then looking at other options for the after dinner I don't think any are going to offer multiple good glassware. (probably not any good glassware) Not as much enjoyment doing verticals if you cant have a glass of each to go back and forth between to appreciate the differences etc.

I am still happy to bring a '12 BP but wonder if it would be better to bring something else that is a stand alone like another in the Rockford range - Dry Country Grenache, a Rod n Spur (Cab Shiraz), a Moppa Springs (Mataro/Grenache/Shiraz) etc

Or something else completely - I have some nice Tassie or NZ PN I could add to drron's?

(or a Sami-Odi, Wendouree, Blue Poles, Cullen, d'Arenberg, Serrat, Wolf Blass, Wynns.....)

Really looking forward to catching up, and later sharing wine (as I normally drink alone 😉)
