I'll still bring my 11 BP to Tassy but agree that a range of wine will be good.
I just hope we find somewhere to drink them.

We will find somewhere - I will bring a glass for you (in case of emergency )I'll still bring my 11 BP to Tassy but agree that a range of wine will be good.

That's where I stock up.Sorry, senior mgmt has informed me that we hv other plans for what is a long w/end here in Hobart.. Pity, as the post-lunch sampling line-up is shaping up quite well.. For those without a contribution, suggest a look at The Pinot Shop in Paterson St: Tasmanian, Victorian, New Zealand & world Pinot Noir
I am still happy to bring a '12 BP but wonder if it would be better to bring something else that is a stand alone like another in the Rockford range - Dry Country Grenache, a Rod n Spur (Cab Shiraz), a Moppa Springs (Mataro/Grenache/Shiraz) etc

Saturday night? An evening destination has now been identified and confirmed, shame you cannot make it @BCons @pistons and @Sulzerman
You boys might need a nanny nap before Saturday nightSaturday night?
Will we be in a fit state after lunch?
Unfortunately you can only do it the day before. They do say 24 hours but when I have caught a BNE flight arriving in LST at 1545.I fly on Sunday and put in my application at 8am on Saturday. They reply quickly.I'm still waiting for my approval to enter the apple isle
Wait till discover the arrival procedure . Look forward to catching up.Tasmania has the most difficult entry permit system so far encountered.

I don’t understand why you think it is strange/ridicule that people acclimatise to where they live @drron the flora you enjoy wouldn’t exist if the world only had the temperature range of the QLD Sunshine CoastHa.Lonnie forecast for Saturday is rain and 18.Sunday only a slight chance of a shower and 17.
Mind you a few of the locals mighn't survive the heat wave in the next 2 days.Thursday 21,Friday 22.
I'm sorry I have upset you @Steady but that post I assure you was not to ridicule Tasmanians or think it strange that people acclimatise. It was written in response to the previous post giving Hobart's prediction for the weekend as 13 and raining with launceston being a little warmer.I don’t understand why you think it is strange/ridicule that people acclimatise to where they live @drron the flora you enjoy wouldn’t exist if the world only had the temperature range of the QLD Sunshine Coast
