Is this for reports that ended or started in 2024? Oh I see you've preselected just a few. Hmm. Jury's out for me.

The finalists are all the 'Trip Report of the Month' winners for this year, since we started awarding this prize in June. The winners of that are generally trip reports that were completed in the previous month.

Now that it's January 2025, it's time for a new Trip Report of the Month. The monthly winners from this year will all go in the running to win 'Trip Report of the Year 2025' in December. :)

And our winner for this month is @woodyren with this excellent trip report covering western China:

This was hard to pick because a lot of AFF members have written some great trip reports over the holidays. Many of these have been very high quality. It's great to see and the entire AFF community really appreciates the effort that people put into these! :)

Choosing this month's Trip Report of the Month winner was particularly difficult, because there have been multiple really excellent trip reports over the holiday period. But we couldn't go past @Human's absolute cracker of a trip report, covering their "trip of a lifetime" space-themed tour of the USA, and even ending in Emirates First Class.

Congratulations @Human, and you can read the winning trip report here:

Thank you so much! I am genuinely honoured.

I had a lot of fun writing the TR and I can honestly say that writing it added to the enjoyment of an absolutely awesome trip. I’m humbled that others have enjoyed reading it!
