Dates & Times are AEDST. To make it interesting, all predictions must be entered by midnight (23:59:59), AEDST, Sunday 05 April 2009. Deleted posts do not count, only actual posts!

Closest guess to actual post time will win - regardless of whether the guess is earlier or later than the posting time. Winner will have name engraved in Winner's Podium honour roll.

Good luck to all.

Anyone waiting for more statistical data before posting a prediction?

Anyone waiting for more statistical data before posting a prediction? 3rd April 2009 07:59 PM

Yes please JohnK, then I can appear to study the data and make a SWAG and still be completely wrong. :p

But hey we have some fun and that is all that matters.

Absoluetly, if someone can publish the time series data going back a year that would be good. :)

And this is going to help you to determine future posting trends?

Well economists and financial planners rake in big $$$ doing just that. Then laughingly putiing in a disclaimer saying that past peformance is no indicator of future performance.

Cut and paste with poor editiing....

I call it Editor Inheritance.

Was thinking of a spreadsheet showing the number of posts each day for the last year! hahaha
Have close to that as have been recording and graphing data for the xx,000 post contests since Jan 2008. Not every day but once a week more or less. Post rates are increasing.

Guess 18:05 21/04/09
