Dammit. Forgot to factor Easter in.

Dammit I forgot to guess in time for the close off. (again)
Best strategy is to put a prediction in the first time you come across the thread. Posting rates are fairly stable, although increasing slightly recently, unless something drastic happens, think Amex promotion, and factor in public holidays.

We have a reasonably close contest with a few people in with a good chance to take the prize. Well not quite a prize but you know what I mean....

I guess it isn't really something you could put on the CV.....

I toyed with the idea of using the 20th as there was a bit of a gap there but decided just to sneak in before everyone else. How sophisticated my calculations have become :)

Agreed SERFY's prediction looks good

Why not? It proves that you can make accurate predictions using complicated formulas. Thinking of applying for a job as an actuary. ;)

Expecting the posting rate to slow down over Easter....

Hope the posts slow even more - needing ~87 posts per day to reach my target prediction for 29/4

Too bad I've just added another one with this :(

I don't think I have seen a posting rate of ~87 a day on AFF for a long time. Now where are those trip reports I need to finish. :p

I guess I have not helped your cause as I have added another post. ;)

Getting close now. After a very noticeable slow down of posts over the Easter break there has been a flurry of posts in the last few days....

I've noticed people have gone crazy today on the posting.
