That means both answers are right :)

medhead,

Where on the website did you get the 294000 from?

As others have mentioned on the home tab at www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au

In general, to clarify, I'm not questioning the data points presented and suggesting a change if data source. Just it was a shock especially as I based my calculation on the higher number. Well actually an earlier lower data point and a later higher number. Hence suggesting a big rate of increase. :o

Anyway, c'est la vie. La vie.

medhead,

As my fuzzy little brain comes back to me I recall querying this with admin in the past. He does not know why this occurs and cannot fix it.

It probably matters little which one we are using, as long as we are all using the same one.

But we generally base it off the figure at the bottom of the discussion boards :p
I must admit that is the only one that I look at.
In the past the stats have been taken by/from Mwenenzi so that is probably the way to go IMHO.
I, too, believe that this is the one that has been used.
The figure at the bottom of the discussion boards is what I record. From JohnK data points I guess he uses the same discussion board post count

I'm totally happy with which is used to determine the post count. (Just wanted to say that up front)

Just saying that I stuffed myself up, by not using the same one. I checked a data point posted in the thread, then checked the other number and thought the post count went up about 3000 posts in about 4 days. From that I determined my guess. So it was just a shock when the next data point post was about 2500 posts lower.

Anyway, it's all good. I used to stuffing up.;) thanks for the guidance

Just over 3 days to go....

Hang on a second where are you getting these data points? Because the website showed me something like 294000 earlier today. Although the aff app shows a lower number
Medhead, due to the confusion I am prepared to accept a revised prediction from you.

We do actually use the figure shown at the bottom of the page when clicking on Discussion Board.

Last day for predictions.
