23 min to central on the MTR. Not really such a loooong way :!:

Any directions on how to get MTR from Times Square to the Airport? Is it easy/hard? I now have a flight on Monday evening HKG-PVG on Dragonair at 7PM so am thinking either a cab from office at 4PM or MTR - but have never been on MTR before...

You get to 'Causeway Bay' MRT station and head to Central (2 Stops IIRC). Transfer there to Airport Express; one way cost for Airport Express is HKD100 (~AUD17) (FWIW, so is Day Return)

AS an update we used the MTR to get back to the hotel last night and today we are off to see the Big Buddha so that is a test run out towards the airport :)

MTR? Do you mean MRT?

MRT = Singapore (and also Bangkok)
MTR = Hong Kong.

I get horribly confused myself over which are which :)

You're right, MTR is Hong Kong, MRT is Singapore (and Bankgok, Manila, Delhi and Jakarta, and probably some others). Sorry.

Not surprising, after that little sprint for the last couple of days, things are nor returning to there normal sedate posting patterns.

Hey Kiwi Flyer, how about you and I make a bid for Qantas, with financial backing from oz-mark or Lindsay Wilson.:shock:

That way we non contestors could influence the comp.:lol:

I could probably give enough financial backing to buy a tyre or something like that :)

A drink in the QP would be backing enough, imagine the bragging rights you would have.

Must be imagining them, the post rate has slowed down from the last few days :)
