Skytrax should be annoucing the airline of the year 2024 rankings in june or july and this is the current top 10 for 2023
1. Singapore Airlines
2. Qatar Airways
3. ANA All Nippon Airways
4. Emirates
5. Japan Airlines
6. Turkish Airlines
7. Air France
8. Cathay Pacific
9. EVA Air
10. Korean Air

And i would like to predict which one of these airlines on the top 10 list will get knocked out and be replaced by Hainan Airlines my predictions is either Air France or Cathay to get knocked out and my predictions if Air France and Cathay both get knocked out then Hainan and Swiss will make the list do you agree with my predictions at all or not and i would also like to rank your predictions with 9 of these airlines in the list and hainan and if you predict two i would like to see your predictions with hainan and the other airline

Because Hainan will improve and they are currently 11th and will make the top 10 and Air France and Cathay Pacific will drop in rankings and AF will drop out of the top 10 and possibly CX and the other airline along with Hainan that will make the top 10 will probably be Swiss and heres my list my predictions

I find skytrax pretty misleading in these rating. Are we taking the airlines at their best? At their worst? Average? Take QR for example, their best stuff is amazing. Their worst however is shockingly bad and should've been retired or refurbished a decade ago.

TBH though the top 10 ratings on Skytrax seem to be fairly well aligned with bloggers and casual comments and reviews on the like of FT and AFF. Can always debate about the top few spots and these could go to any of several carriers in any given year, and they all have their faults. Their are usually 1-2 airlines in the top 10 though that can be quite perplexing.

Now that's different to the skytrax star ratings, which seem to be heavily commercially influenced, and quite bizarre at times.

What do you think the top 5/6 spots will be and do you think it would be Air France or Cathay Pacific that will get knocked out of the top 10 and do you think EVA and Korean will improve. What other airline Aswell as Hainan would you predict will make the top 10 if Air France and Cathay get knocked out

I've often wondered ... airline revenues ALL come from the pointy end, surely ratings & reviews affect who chooses to be up the pointy end; so therefore, are ratings & reviews fed from the opinions of those up the point end & only relevant to the pointy-end products - and hence totally irrelevant to 95% of people who travel?

SQ is good but can be highly overrated - skewed by F class flyers.

I have been loyal to SQ for many years but did a few flights on QR last year and was quite pleased. I feel QR is equally good if not slightly better. They may not have the same level of consistency as that of SQ.
..and I normally have a perfect view of top the wings from where I sit.

Skytrax is a Pay per Comment corrupt media outlet. There are plenty of factual accounts from various industry players that unearthed the truth about SkyTrax and were subsequently very badly mistreated by them for publicly airing their corruption.
