In the same boat as most others
my only real option now is to get the krisflyer platinum card through westpac
Only problem is I hate paying for cards
majority of my points go towards krisflyer anyways
though i do like warehousing the points under altitude rewards
this is really the only cheapest option isnt it?

Yes for bulk points I think that one is a very good option.
I just finished off the 200k points cap on Bankwest tonight so that card will go to sleep for another 11 months.
I am running up a pile of points for my son on Black before the cut off.
Mrscove wants to fly a girlfriend so I used her Platinum Krisflyer Amex to make that easy.

Oh i mean, they are blocking people who are trying to sneak some in last minute, then I am sure will be back to full function after the said date.

Westpac online banking is working, as is the ATO Credit Card payment site.

Westpac online banking is working, as is the ATO Credit Card payment site.

Based on my call to Westpac this morning, apparently there is some issue with the Amex CCV authorisation today.

I called after trying my Alt Black Amex on the ATO and Telstra sites this morning. I got the same message as scheps on the ATO site. Tried again this afternoon but no joy yet.

Paid the three at 9.32 am today and have payment conformations which I have saved as PDF.

I would like to try again, but have run out of Taxes to pay.

Paid our friend this morning, no problems with Amex authorisation.
Somewhat glum as well, this being the last one for the Black. I'll get over it, Plan B ready to activate

Yep all good this morning. A friend was generous enough to "lend" me her BAS so I could have another go round after I did mine earlier in the month that I thought would be my last.

With not much time left I started on the October BAS tonight. Sure it isn't due until November 21st but don't stop me now.
