Amex Centurion Card eligibility in Australia

I would love to be offered the Centurian Card. I currently hold the Platinum Charge personal, and have had it for the last 5 years.
My spend this year so far has been just over $1 million, so the extra earn rate on the Centurian card will be worth it for me. I don’t think the other benefits will suit me much as truth be told I don’t travel anywhere near enough to make the most out of the perks.
At what point will they send me an invitation to join, or should I just put in an expression of interest??

I'm assuming you spend circa $1M a year, not $1M in the fist 4 days of Jan correct??

If it was 1M all personal, that should be enough..

If its bus and personal, probably not...

For me, I had to get spend up to the $2M per year mark for a few years (mix of bus and personal), and I put a fair whack through AMEX Travel on bus class flights and FHR, and maybe 30K through Langtons each year, before getting an invite. I think I put in 3 EOI's before success.

As others have said, just put in an EOI I guess, and keep at it :)

I wonder if anyone has been offered a Centurion with an annual spend of $150-200k pa ?

I just put in my 4th EOI and joined in August 2023.

2024-1.25m spending
2025- 1.8m expected

Many places charge a surcharge for Amex, but I don't pay for any purchase with card surcharge.

Amex needs to work with merchants to remove the surcharge so we would use the card more often.

Yes, definitely meant in a year! lol
It is mostly business spend, I certainly don’t spend that much personally.
For me, cause a cent card will only mildly benefit me I probably won’t put in a EOI. I’m not fussed if they don’t invite me, but at the same time I’d happily join.
