Please share? Most airlines are actually 2:1, SQ is the exception. If you want SQ points there are better ways to get them than Amex

I would love to be offered the Centurian Card. I currently hold the Platinum Charge personal, and have had it for the last 5 years.
My spend this year so far has been just over $1 million, so the extra earn rate on the Centurian card will be worth it for me. I don’t think the other benefits will suit me much as truth be told I don’t travel anywhere near enough to make the most out of the perks.
At what point will they send me an invitation to join, or should I just put in an expression of interest??
I wonder if anyone has been offered a Centurion with an annual spend of $150-200k pa ?I'm assuming you spend circa $1M a year, not $1M in the fist 4 days of Jan correct??
If it was 1M all personal, that should be enough..
If its bus and personal, probably not...
For me, I had to get spend up to the $2M per year mark for a few years (mix of bus and personal), and I put a fair whack through AMEX Travel on bus class flights and FHR, and maybe 30K through Langtons each year, before getting an invite. I think I put in 3 EOI's before success.
As others have said, just put in an EOI I guess, and keep at it![]()
300k for meI wonder if anyone has been offered a Centurion with an annual spend of $150-200k pa ?
I think Im between the $150-$250k mark, lets see what happens with this EOI300k for me

I got mine in 2009 and it was around 2-300k pa. Did call and conveyed my EOI and was invited not long after. I was told then to book some business class flights with them.I wonder if anyone has been offered a Centurion with an annual spend of $150-200k pa ?
I don’t have the card; my brother does but I’d suggest that the quantum of spend isn’t the only criteriaIt’s interesting from 2-300 to now 2 mil plus
10 fold increase in 15 years or so
Maybe that just reflects more people spend more on Amex and so they always just want the top 0.1% on Centurion
CorrectI don’t have the card; my brother does but I’d suggest that the quantum of spend isn’t the only criteria
They're telling you what to do after giving you the product?I got mine in 2009 and it was around 2-300k pa. Did call and conveyed my EOI and was invited not long after. I was told then to book some business class flights with them.
I can't recall who told me some of the criteria, whether it was the Platinum charge person or a forum/friend. First you start with a Platinum charge, then spend on travel, lifestyle etc and convey an EOI. I vaguely recall that the time between having the Platinum and receiving an invite was not very long. Not sure if this makes a difference but I've been with Amex since 89 but didn't put that much on the card until the mortgage was paid off. They're telling you what to do after giving you the product?
