So, I was wondering if anyone has experienced this.

I applied for an got approved for the Explorer. When I registered it, it automatically tied itself to my Ascent rewards program. I rang AMEX to have it de-linked and to set it up with its own rewards program (cos I was cancelling the other card). That was over a week ago.

I have spent about $1000 so far. When I log into my Amex app and even online - I don't see any rewards points section - not even to say that I have zero points.

I spoke to Amex, they said due to the de-linking, it'll take longer for that to appear. Should it take more than a week? Anyone go to the de-linking can let me know?

if explorer is linked to ascent you can convert 1 to 1 to airlines, delinked is 1=0.75
