Amex MR - interesting narration

I got 3000 removed off me today. I have a professional organisation (IEAust) card, plus I was on Gold Accelerator for a while, including a time when I was in the Everyday Spending promotion. At one time I was getting $1/2pts due to my Engineers Australia 0.5 bonus plus 0.5 bonus from Gold Accelerator.

So it seems the info here is consistent with what I'm seeing, although of course 3000 points, despite being "useless" by itself, isn't bad scratch either.

Now I've only got the Gold Accelerator bonus.

Received letter from Amex today dated 19th March. Says there was a duplication of points between 15th September and 16th November, which has been reversed but rounded down to the nearest thousand.

I definately was getting more points as I have already posted the big Amex thread, but nobody knew what it was at the time (including Amex). Letter is personalised to the professional body card that I have, but the rest of it looks very generic.

Yep got the same thing too so very generic. Docked me 2000 but I think they about 12000 short on their rounding down!! Happy with their maths!!
