Betta Electrical Footscray charges a surcharge on Amex and Diners. No surcharge for MC/VISA.

Went to Village Cinema's today - they no longer accept AmEx, only Visa/MCD. Pretty disappointing !

Have tried unsuccessfully online last night and today to buy some Gold Class tix but web site probs so I have not been able to proceed to stage where I can experience that bad news Brooke!

Haha - that's exactly how I found out. Although, you can pay thru PayPal so may be able to get around it that way. Unfortunately the website was not being co operative when I was trying to book my tickets as well - so I just went to the cinemas today - "sorry we no longer take AmEx" :(

That's a really handy summary jj92. Now to work out to which Caltex Cruiser is referring if not all.

My understanding is as per document I attached, all "Caltex Woolworths Alliance stores (owned & operated by Caltex or their franchisee)" will now incur Amex surcharges, all "Caltex Woolworths Stores" should remain surcharge free

Jamie's Italian asks for a 0.95% surcharge on all cards but didn't actually charge one...

Just paid my vicroads rego renewal at aust post and they accepted amex to pay. Surprising as vicroads mention only visa/mc via post-office. Enjoy!

Except you get 0.5 point, because Australia Post is classified as government.

Yeah that's all good just wanted the $700! to be charged to my amex rather than from my savings account :)

Anybody fuelled up at "Caltex Woolworths Stores" as yet? And the 2nd part of the question how do you tell these from "Caltex Woolworths Alliance Stores"?

Can't answer part 1, but for part 2 Caltex Woolies has the big green W under the Caltex name.

Had the opportunity to pay 6% levy on 2 pizzas last night in Circular Quay which I declined. Paid cash instead.
