Amex Platinum $200 "Dining credit" towards a list of Global Restaurants

Groovy!

Just saved both offers to my card. Thanks for the heads up. This is a very welcome and useful benefit.

So if my membership year resets in June, is my understanding of the T&Cs correct that I'll be able to benefit from the $400 of credits this year (Jun-Dec) and next year (Jan-Jun)?

this year July-Dec
Next year 2023 is full calendar year
Following year 2024 is also full calendar year

At the current exchange rate $200 through Pocket Concierge in Japan will go a decent way. I reckon it's about a 15% markup over standard rates, so not bad.
I am hoping Japan opens up in the next three months in which case I will get to use the overseas credit.

Does anyone have any recommendations in Osaka?

Thank you.

Is Japan's border still close?

Practically yes.

Currently they are accepting limited numbers of North Korean style guided tours with chaperones.

I am an independent traveller. They do not allow this at present.

I've just done that and get the message -there are no offers for your card.
I've had similar happen with other offers (Shop Small) that have required assistance from the call centre to force the offer onto my card.

Though the t&cs do say some cards are ineligible.
Out of interest I tried 2 other computers without checking in. When you bring up the offer it asks if you have or ever had had a professional association card. Answer yes and there is no offer. Answer no and it comes up but when it then gets you to log in it has gone.

I have a Platinum Charge through a professional association (AMA), I presume the same as yours. I could only locate the local offer initially in my app, eventually located the overseas one. Strangely, it wasn’t listed under “Dining”.

i also have a professional card, saw both offers in the app this morning

Has it let you enrol? I can certainly find the offer but always get the no offer for you when trying to enrol.
My card was initially with the RACP.

I was paranoid after your post and went back to recheck the app. Both are saved in my offers area. If you use the app, I would go through all the subsections of offers to see if you can find them (I think mine might have been under travel for some reason, and it wasn't viewable on the main offers landing area in the app.)

Mine is a 2013 RACP and both offers appeared and registered in app

Mine definitely not able to be registered and not appearing in my offers as yet. hopefully will turn up as in a month off to Spain and we are booked in one of the restaurants on the list.
PS so now n chat to find out.
PPS they terminated the chat.

Might be less painful to just email the concierge team and request they sort it out.
