To the person that used my referral you don't know how much that means to me as I'm just that bit closer to getting a trip around the world for myself and my partner. Thank-you.

Hopefully there's still others out there who haven't sign up a Platinum Card recently :)

Planning a trip with my family for the next school holidays but I'm about 40k points short currently so any assistance received will be greatly appreciated. Don't forget, the current offer ends on 15/08 so time is running out.

Guys, I think the 120,000 points bonus is on it's last days!

Amex has already reduced the non-referral bonus to 80,000. But on my referal page it still says 120,000 until August 15th.

So maybe after the 15th, the total referral points will go down to 100,000?

If you're still on the fence, I'd act now!

Don't miss out on the extra 20,000 points!

Jumped onboard on the last days, not sure if getting the 120K bonus pts or not as I have Edge.

But here's my referral link for those who makes the decision at last minutes just like me

Just to confirm I got the 120K bonus points even with an Edge Platinum in hand.

All the points I had also got converted to Ascent Premium! Sweet!

Nice! That is exactly what I would expect to happen an it is good to have another data point as confirmation. Enjoy spending the bonus points!

Anyone know how long it takes before referral bonuses are credited? I suppose it's hard to tell since you don't normally know if someone on here has given you a nice gift.. Looks like we didn't have any luck though :(

In my experience (when I've had family apply using my referral link) the referral bonus usually credits shortly after the person referred activates their new card.

do you guys check the box that asks you if you have another Amex card?

Yes, indeed and still get the bonus points. When it comes to getting the bonus points, it seems to be more to do with what AMEX rewards programs you have open than ticking that box. Plus AMEX well and truly know what cards you already have with them - I'm not even sure why they bother with the box!

BTW note this 120,000 bonus points offer ended on August 15th - new offer for 90,000 bonus points is out, details below:

Indeed, perhaps this thread should be closed to save any confusion and accidental mistakes for anyone.

Yes I did - I also have an Amex Plat Edge. Signed up on the last day of the 120k offer. I feared I wouldn't get the bonus points but was reassured when I read further commentary here, and then the points came. Happy days.
