Unfortunately, heaps of QF sale fares don't earn anything on CX, especially the domestic ones.

International fares seem to be in better shape though

Whats kinda funny though is the CX system will still pickup the booking if you book the QF ticket with your CX number in it, even for fares that do not earn miles/SCs. I think this is intentional but people do need to watch out for this as just because CX shows the booking doesn't mean you'll earn the points.

Anyone new charge card holders manage to sign up recently?

Called AMEX and they said they will look into it, as far as the csr knows its still a benefit. but will call me back to confirm

Received a call and was declined.

Also left feedback about how important that benefit was. Also suggested having Hyatt conversion points as well.

Also able to 'formally' suggest new benefits by writing into their GPO BOX in NSW

End of Jan 15 expiry just received the new card with Jul 15 expiry and the letter with the new requal requirements 30000 miles etc.

Will actually work out well, just about to earn about 26000 of them - now longer to get the rest.

Same here received letter yesterday mp gold was your expire Jan 15 now extended to Jul 15. 30k or 20 sectors for mp gold

Some members appear to have been lucky and had their MP Gold extended, all I received was a letter and my new green card. :evil:

After 4 visits to emirates business lounge as qf ps on qf1/qf2 showing marco polo gold I was refused admittance last month as the boarding pass did not have cx marco polo number on it.previuosly no problem..despite protests to "supervisors".fortunately Maharaba loung is also available to Amex
Platinum card holders but it is no of the same standard.

As with most people here, I've got my MPG with my AMEX platinum. It's due to expire in June 2015. In my recent MPG statement, it says 40K Asia Miles required to qualify for MPG again. This might be a stupid question but does transferring 40K over AMEX MR over count??

I had a hard landing...from Gold to Green.

The renewal letter says there's this one off soft landing and I'll just need 30k points to remain GO. If they can confirm it my next couple of flights in the coming weeks will be on CX otherwise it's QF.
