You probably won't be able to. AFAIK, the referral process is based on the card you own as well so that the bonus points you get is different depending on the card you own.

PM me if you want me to guide you through the process I use to generate the direct referral link so you can try this for yourself.

I have been looking for a free referral link, it looks like the ones that are around presently give 15,000 points and costs $195 for the card. If anyone has a link for a free card, kindly let me know.
