you mean 2hrs for $7.50 i presume.

No it's free for Centurion members and I assumed that it was the same for Platinum.

[EDIT] I just called Centurion Lifestyle to confirm. Still free for Centurion members but now $7.50 for Platinum at Bondi Junction.

Thanks. Another nice downgrade for Plat charge members :)

Yes indeed. So far the Centurion members have had a few minor upgrades but with no material downgrades (depending on how you view the new membership rewards points formula). But Centurion members have had to cop a fairly hefty hike in the annual fee. Maybe AMEX thinks that Platinum charge members would prefer to lose a few benefits than pay more. I suspect AMEX might be right about that... :)

I would prefer to pay more to have more benefits :) Oh well lets see if one day I will get an invite to be a Cent :)

These days they seem to hand out Centurion invitations like free newspapers at train stations. It can't be too difficult to get one. If you really want it then I'd just give Platinum card services a call and ask for an invitation.

I think I will wait until next year :) I just got the plat charge not long ago :)

I think those days may be over - when my Relationship Manager called me to advise of the changes to the Platinum charge card's points-earn she suggested that if I was interested in upgrading to Centurion I should ask for an invite now as Amex are significantly tightening the criteria of who they offer the card to.

Yeah...to those who are prepared to drop $10K in the first year just for the privilege of a black metal card... ;)
