Happy to report I moved $450 worth of flights this weekend from qf to DJ. People may say that status matched people are scum, but I am prepared to put my personal money behind the status match.

Congrats Liam and welcome to the club. It takes some real hard yakka (well bum in seat anyway) to crack past the 1000 SC mark. Time to flex those DYKWIA muscles and reap the rewards! Look forward to seeing you at the pointy end BTW 760 SC's in 4 months and a total of 1148 for the previous 12 months and boy my arms are tired (bad joke, I know)
Sadly, the flight was full of bogans, luckily the service more than made up for it.
Aren't all flights too/from the GC full of bogans? Be thankful it wasn't JQ otherwise you'd have had rednecks too
The entire city is full of brogans.
(Except for all the AFF members.)
My first flight since the new status and very happy thus far
First my seat selection was in row 5 when I checking in online. No bad but!!!
Then as I was boarding the flight they changed my seat selection to row 3, getting better Then as I am in flight and the seat belt sign is still on they come up to me and tell me to go into row 2 as I will be more comfortable and have the row to myself, premimum economy seats!!! Great
Then and just now. What would you like sir. Coffee is the response. Anything else? No thanks, are you sure because we are not charging you today. Love it And then and just now again they bring my coffee out and give me a cookie!!!
What a great start to the day.
I love platinum.
Yeah.
adel to melba was ordinary in comparison. NOTHING, no seat change nothing special at all. Worse part was i was now expecting it. Even boarding, they called people with special needs first.
Platinums have special needs don't they?? They need assistance to get their egos aboard
Would be good to understand what instructions the crew have been given in relation to Platinum members.either they do it all the time and have consistency or dont bother. All Premimum economy seats should automatically be filled if available with Platinum members followed by Gold members.
