One of my older friends and his wife died during COVID AT AGE 98 so I’m making the effort to go cry and mourn and take a photo or two
The other place there’s likely a memorial is the Auckland museum war memorial

Are reroutes out of the question? ie if I have SYD to CGK, can I ask for SYD to SIN instead a few days later. This will at least salvage some of the holiday.

Sorry I was not clear, flight originates in Brisbane all on one ticket. So BNE - SYD - CGK. It is an award ticket too.
