Also confirming yes, this is possible. We did this pre-covid.I do wonder if you check your bags in early at the station would that then mean you could head to the airport thereby allowing you to enjoy many hours in the First class lounge(s) before your flight departs?
Hopefully not a silly question but thought I’d ask for those considering to use city check-in, do they issue boarding passes there as well as accept baggage?Completed in-town check in at Hong Kong today (16th Feb 2025) for QF128 (yes, the flight that tonight is 4 hours delayed). Superduper impressed. There was a separate Qantas counter, and it seemed to be empty in comparison to Cathay's one on the right hand side. Once bags were tagged and scanned, app updated straight away.
