Any reports on success asking for a fee waiver on CBA Diamond?

For those of you who are having the Platinum card fee waived.. Would you mind sharing your average yearly spend? I have reached the points cap for the Platinum MC but I need to keep using this card for another benefit. Has anyone had any luck with CBA increasing points caps on an individual basis or would I be better off trying to move to the Diamond card?

I don't think there is any chance for you to get CBA to waive the annual fee unless you have a home loan package. I believe you can ask them to upgrade your platinum card to Diamond with no extra cost, which means you get Diamond card but pay Platinum annual fee.

Private banking package will also deliver a zero fee.

Ditto... didn't even have to ask!

Same here: from an old Law Society membership when the CBA had their account and provided fee free cards for their members. When they lost the account they honoured fee free for the same customers. Had it about 10 years now.

Not that much compared to others probably: maybe around 25-35k pa.

But I also have two loans with them and no consumer debt.
