I haven't flown QF in years and I don't credit points to QF. As it happens, I just went to book a QF points redemption and noticed that ~350,000 points were wiped 5 days ago while I was away on holiday.
This is all my fault. It is not QF's fault. I searched back through my emails and they did send me a warning about this, but the email looked like a promo (it was entitled "Your September Qantas points balance plus great offers") and I deleted it without reading the bit in the middle about expiring points.
As it has only just occurred, I thought there might be some chance that they might entertain an approach to reverse this. But rather than go in unprepared, I thought I might ask if anybody has had any success with such a request and, if so, what technique might have worked?
(If you're planning on replying "this is your own stupid fault, stupid head, so why don't you stop bashing QF" please take a moment to re-read my post, above, and have a great day!)
