Anyone received online mall points lately?

I found this Link last night after receiving a Auto -generated email from the Qantas mall yesterday and posted on the Woolworths rewards thread.

Perfect for tracing all those Missing Woolworth transactions. ;)

As Per the Woolworths rewards thread:

I have just stumbled upon a way to track your Qantas Mall purchases and the pending QFF points.
Buried on the confirmation email that is Auto- generated from the Qantas Mall, is now a link to track “ shopping history”.
This link opens up all your transactions recorded at the Qantas Mall and the progress of transactions in terms of being allocated QFF points.

This same link to track “ shopping history” can also be found deep amongst the Qantas Mall FAQ section under “ How can I See how many points I’m due to earn”.

This is a great positive step to help members track Qantas Mall purchases, although it’s very disappointing that over the past 5 phone calls I have made to the offshore QFF service centre in recent days, no one has had the hindsight to mention this link exists.

Yeah I've just noted I have a couple transactions from April yet to be credited, are still sitting as 'pending'. Ironically from the same retailer, and at substantially different earn rates (one for 5 pts/$ - the norm, and the other at 1pt/$)

Thanks oz_mark for the link! Confirmed what I suspected there must be an issue with Kathmandu as none of my purchases with them in almost 3 years had registered where others have been fine, even on days where I purchased from another retailer in the same session and had screenshots to show the same browser, PC, etc as proof when points post for the other purchase but Kathmandu's does not. Kathmandu purchases through the mall disappear in a black hole and I've given up chasing with QF.

My Shopping History shows two transactions as 'pending'. As they were only in June, I don't expect to see them for quite some time.:p At least I know that they are there.

I received email confirmation for a David Jones transaction back in early June. Usual caveat, points could take 4-8 weeks before posting. When the 9 week mark ticked over and no points had posted I decided to follow up.

The CS rep I spoke to said they have recently changed the T's & C's such that it can now take up to 150 days before points will post. According to him they have had to do this because of the high level of serial offenders defrauding (gaming?) the system where people would buy stuff and then return the goods after some time (not the usual send back within days but several weeks after the fact).

So basically he said depending on the store you could be waiting up to 5 months before seeing the points. Not happy Jan!

Screen snip of the new terms he pointed me to:

Thanks for that info ... I think. 150 days, huh? I'm only at 90-some days pending, so looks like I'll be waiting a while. Shopping since then I've put through VA Mall and have received points within a month.

Where is our friend on here who was bragging about playing the system?

Can I thank them for these negative changes...

I've queried this recently with the QFF service centre, and they claim that the "tagging" or electronic confirmation of successful transactions from the Qantas mall portal to the specific retailer's website is frequently dropping out before payment is taken. This results in QFF having no confirmation that a transaction took place in the first place. The problem, i'm lead to believe has been partially resolved, with confirmation emails taking 24 - 48 hours to appear of a successful transaction through the QFF mall.

I suspect the 150 days to process the QF Mall transactions, may be due to the significant backlog of transactions still showing "pending", and to befrank a rather hopeless IT upgrade 12 months ago.

This is In addition, The BPO who has taken over the QFF service centre - Teletech is struggling to provide QFF and its members with a satisfactory level of service.

My points (finally!) posted today from purchases on May 11 and May 26. Should I feel special that this was *only* 4 months rather than 5?

ETA: my purchases were DJs and Bonds
