Card Offers ANZ Frequent Flyer Black: 130,000 Qantas Points + $200 back

Do you need to wait for second year to get the extra 30K points (130K + 30K) as is the policy for the regular offer (100K + 30K)?

Will have to look at the screenshot I took when I get home (in case this occurred). But I took it as existing customer offer 160k in total after 3k spend.

Probably just an error in their backend. Contact them and say you signed up for the 160K offer. They should credit you the correct amount, but it may take some time.

My screen shots of the application process via the APP do not mention anything other than 160K points and partial annual fee refund after spending $3000 in the first 3 moths.

From memory that's what I saw.

Edit: as below. The reason I screen capped it was the fact there was no Apply Now and you just had to click through the learn more to get to the application, which made me suss that this might happen.

I questioned it yesterday, just received a message through the app they're going to allocate the extra 30k.

Not in my experience. Came through all at the same time in two seperate QF transactions.

When is the sweet spot for requesting the lounge passes?
Do they set the expiry date from the time you request them from ANZ?
If so, I'd be likely to wait awhile, as I already have a stack of passes expiring soon.
On the other hand, if I leave it until too late in the ANZ membership year, and the request gets delayed between ANZ and Qantas, will I likely lose the pass for that year?

Not a big issue, but I was curious

Yes.

As this card isn't a keeper due to its outrageous annual fee, I close the card as soon as possible to start the 12 month clock to open it again. In which case, I request them just before I close the card.

Has anyone had the 100k points post to their QFF account lately?

What's the average wait time after the statement date?

My ANZ account is now showing 160K Bonus points (second statement due later this month, so in the second period now). I expect the points to land at QFF account around the statement date later this month. The fact its showing as 160K bonus points on ANZ account means I am confident the full 160K will land at QFF acount at statement time.

I signed up for the 160k a month ago. Just received my first statement and no sign of bonus points only 3200 regular points. Should I assume the bonus points and fee rebate will be credited in the second month. Also been charged the 2 fees of $375 and $50.

As noted by many people previously, the sign-up bonus pointys are paid at the end of the second statement period. Once you entry your second statement period, you should see them noted on the web site under the "Rewards Points" option on the left menu selection. Mine looks like this and my second statement is due 16th October (tomorrow), soon after which is when I expect to see the points hit my QFF acount. Points from first statement showed up in QFF on 20th September.

You should have already got the 160k points hit your QF account, which perhaps come in two transactions (100000+60000), just like mine? ;)

Is this you first statement? I'm just a little concerned as I closed the same account around 18 months ago but I received a refund which put it into credit which I was unaware of until recently. So even though I closed it, the account remained open as such rolling over the credit amount for the last year or so.

You probably aren't eligible for the bonus then. You need to have had the account closed for 12 months, and if it remained open due to having a credit balance, that probably makes you ineligible. I'd be calling ANZ ASAP to plead your case.
