As I noted in the other ANZ Black thread this is not correct. You need to also hold a return ticket to Australia, and to also meet all other eligibility conditions in the T&C (which most people would).
The return ticket is important as it means that if you do not have it, if you have booked say $5000 of land content and have to cancel, then you will not be covered.
Wondering if that has to be the one return ticket out and back into Australia or whether it can be any air ticket taking you back to Australia. The example would be for those who buy return tickets from overseas - ie I always buy SIN-SYD return tickets as they are always much cheaper than SYD-SIN return - in this scenario, the return leg is actually part of a separate booking.
One of the best things about the card is the free lounge access in many countries. I would like to keep it after the first year for this reason, but not for the $400+ annual membership. Also has a lower QFF points accrual for Visa (less than 1:1) than my other cards (although Amex is 1.5:1).
