It depends on the T&Cs at the time you're ready to apply again. At the moment I believe it's 12 months but ANZ could choose to change this at any time. Always check the T&Cs when ready to apply again just in case things such as the exclusion period have changed.
Thank you I will make sure I check the T&Cs ...... its a few months yet before I apply.

What amount was on your credit score following this???
My card is 15k limit
creditsavvy says ANZ 50k!!

I want to get a amex asap so dont want this 50k of credit holding me back, or am I misunderstanding?

many thanks

If you applied for a 50k limit and only got 15k your credit report will show what you applied for. If you definitely applied for 15k then you should contact the bank and ask them to correct what they reported to the credit agency.

phoned now and they put in a correction request. if anyone with a similar issue is interesed i can let you know the outcome (thinking time to correct it!)

A sub 3 hour approval should hopefully secure my next 75,000 with a possible 10,000 extra from QFF.

This is targeted, but worth checking your email for... seems to be 2pts / $1

"Until 2nd December 2018 you could earn a bonus Qantas Point for every $1 spent on eligible purchases.1 The offer has already been added to your ANZ Frequent Flyer Black credit card - too easy!"

Has anyone had experience with this?
I send a message via secure mail in internet banking to close the account. This was last week. I log in to check and they reply with a "before I close it, you still have it fee free until X" to try and keep it open. Ergh.
I then reply and tell them I have already given direction to close the account and the date of closure must be on the date I sent it.
If they "forward date" the closure due to their tardiness and delaying tactics and I apply for the next card in 12mo, will they try and use the few days against me, citing the exclusion clause? I could potentially use it to get more points, if it ever got to that.

Just about to come out of the 12 months exclusion period for ANZ. Am I reading correctly that there is now no fee free option available for this card or anything similar?

There is a fee free option when applying with internet banking which means you would need to hold another account with ANZ to have this offer available.

I used your link (stripped down to lose the pid) as a non-ANZ customer and it went all the way through the application with no issues.

Yep. I think the key to that link is 'ib-' in the url for internet banking and it works whether you are customer or not.

Wow am super impressed with anz.

After my initial issues with the application wherre I was accused of fraud on the application

Today I called to cancel the card because I got my bonus points.

Offered me $200 credit instantly to offset the annual fee due next year I will definitely keep for a bit longer now

My opinion of anz is getting higher and higher

I got knocked back by ANZ, no real explanation but I would have thought I was a pretty good risk. I was trying to diversify away from Commbank. I don't think they like large offset balances in their credit scoring.

ANZ have updated the offer on the Frequent Flyer Black Card.
It is now 120000 QFF points with $7500 spend in 3 months
$425 Annual Fee with $150 cash back.
Plus 75 bonus status credits when you book 2 Qantas flights using the card.
Offer available until 31 March 2019.

Would be better if there was no annual fee but it is a decent amount of points on offer so could be worth getting.
I just closed mine down a couple of months ago so hopefully this offer will come around again by the time I’m eligible to apply for it.

The spend target is high for a card that I would only churn. Glad I got in with the old, fee-free offer. I'm waiting fo r the bonus points to land and then I'll be on the 12 month wait.

Fee free offer for 75,000 QFF points is still available as recently pointed out by @Mr_Orange :

not sure if this has been asked, but can you have both the anz black and anz black Qantas card at the same time and still get the offer? Or should i cancel the anz black (non qantas) first?
