Credit Card Offers ANZ Rewards Black Offers & Discussion

What do the T&Cs say about where the promotion is based on the application or approval date? Put in an AFCA case regardless detailing the chronology of events, decent chance they honour the original promotion given the length of time between application and approval.

Cheers re AFCA, I will look into it / ChatGPT will!

Good point - It says "Offer available to new and approved applicants who apply for an ANZ Rewards Black Credit Card" on the new offer and ive assumed it was similar for the last.

Seems like its a confusing way to say apply and are approved

I know a good lawyer who can help with AFCA disputes. Let me know if you want the contact.

Thanks but i suspect for 90,000 velocity points and $150 cash back I think a few ChatGPT prompts will have to suffice

ANZ might do the right thing by the customer - it really falls somewhere between bad luck and unreasonable delay.

Previous interactions have usually resulted in approval post phone call.
